Puneet Gupta is technology writer and analyst and has been focusing on mobile wireless, Internet and related enabling technologies with a focus on issues and opportunities related to convergence of these technologies. He has been contributing to a variety of online and print magazines and newspapers on technologies and issues related to mobile wireless and mobile Internet. With a target audience ranging from business people, casual readers, people with academic interest and mobile wireless developers and core technology professionals, he has been writing for all these segments.

Puneet has also authored papers for IEEE and has been involved in developing an integrated networking and profiling software product for RITES. He has also been involved in designing and developing a software based voice recognition system. He holds Dr. Kundu's IEEE award.

He is currently working with Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies and is involved in development of GSM/GPRS products for Lucent.
