Standards

There is a crying need for standards in this area. Every vendor (small or big, mostly small) is trying to implement proprietary solutions. We need standards for the following:

• Cell site or location information for 911 calls

• GPS information must be served in standardized format so that application developers can use it. currently, there is NMEA 0183 standard.
