Sybase Delivers Mobile and Wireless Extension to SAP Time Tracking Solution

iAnywhere Solutions™, Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc., unveiled its iAnywhere TimeTracker for SAP™, which provides mobile and wireless access to corporate SAP CATS (Cross Application Time Sheet) data.

iAnywhere TimeTracker is designed to capture critical data into the SAP CATS system to automate project management and improve customer service. For the enterprises in the field of finance, healthcare or field service automation, the application will enable them to improve employee productivity, eliminate redundancy and reduce errors by capturing timetracking information anywhere, anytime.

iAnywhere TimeTracker

  • Can be tailored to each organization’s specific needs such as differences in SAP implementations or back-office information systems.
  • Runs Palm OS and Windows CE mobile devices,
  • Provides an intuitive interface for mobile and wireless users to interact with their SAP R/3 data.
  • Uses server-based SAP Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) and Remote Function Calls (RFCs) to enable synchronization of data from the application directly to the SAP R/3 system.
  • Is built on Sybase’s iAnywhere Wireless Server, which supports thousands of users in a secure environment. The server technology enables users to work on or offline, allowing them access to corporate data at anytime.
