UPS Selects Air2Web to Provide Two-Way Wireless Access

UPS has selected Air2Web, Inc.’s, a wireless ASP, to provide its U.S. customers two-way interactive access to UPS services using all types of wireless devices and networks.

The partnership will enable UPS to expand its present wireless service from tracking and drop-off locator via Palm VII™ organizers to enabling its customers to calculate rates and find transit-times for shipments on any digital wireless device, from one-to-two way messaging or Web-enabled phones, PDAs, or pagers. A mobile worker can easily access UPS shipping information by simply entering their phone number and identifying their wireless device at UPS.com.
