The technology team will form the foundation of BackWeb’s R&D efforts to incorporate its Polite™ push technology with wireless capabilities. BackWeb’s Polite extends its customers’ Internet infrastructure by enabling them to target the right information to the right person. The integration of Mobix’s technology into the BackWeb product will enable users to deliver information at "precisely the right time, regardless of the device. BackWeb plans to roll out an integrated product into offering in Q4 of 2000.
