NEWS FLASH
2000 - 23 (July 2000) TECHNOLOGY kforce Consulting and Intacta Technologies to Team on Pervasive Computing Solutions Intacta Technologies announced that it will provide its Intacta.Code data encoding engine to kforce Consulting, a Division of kforce.com, for use in developing pervasive computing applications. According to kforce Consulting, Intacta.Code is a versatile, enabling technology that allows applications to compress and secure data across multiple computing platforms. In addition, it encompasses all form factors, from wireless transmissions, pervasive devices (Palm and SmartPhones) even to compressed and coded print like transaction receipts. Currently, kforce and Intacta are developing a means to easily and reliably package, compress, and transmit data from IBM WebSphere Application Server. These encoded and compressed data packages can be transmitted over any LAN, WAN, wireless or IP connection, then decompressed and decoded by the receiving platform or application. As a member of IBM PartnerWorld for Software, kforce is working with IBM to provide secure applications that bridge data and information from mainframes, minicomputers, and PC servers to handheld and SmartPhone devices. Kforce will use Intacta.Code to compress and securely transmit data between WebSphere and computing devices. Intacta.Code Technical Applications
