2000 - 23 (July 2000) PRODUCTS, SERVICES & APPLICATIONS Novatel Wireless Unveils New Wireless Device for Handspring Visor Novatel Wireless, Inc. has announced its Minstrel S™ Wireless Springboard™ Modem for the Handspring™ Visor™ handheld computer. It marks the latest addition to its Minstrel family of Wireless Palmtop Modems for the Palm OS and Pocket PC platform. The Minstrel S is the first wireless WAN module designed for Handspring’s Springboard expansion platform. The user just has to snap the Minstrel S into the Springboard slot to access email, corporate LANs, and the Internet via the CDPD network.
