2000 - 24 (July 2000) ACQUISITIONS, MERGERS & AGREEMENTS PUMATECH to Acquire Dry Creek Software PUMATECH, Inc. will acquire Dry Creek Software, a developer of software solutions that allow for access of data across mobile devices, corporate servers, and Web applications, for approximately $6 million, in cash and stocks. Dry Creek’s expertise will become the core of PUMATECH’s new Professional Service Organization, that will deliver customized turnkey solutions based on its MAP (Mobile Application Platform) infrastructure for wireless carriers, ISPs, Web portals, and enterprises. MAP is PUMATECH’s common server platform on which it is building its new mobile and wireless solutions.
