2000 - 25 (July 2000) PRODUCTS, SERVICES & APPLICATIONS 724 Solutions & CheckFree to Team on Wireless Bill Payment Offering 724 Solutions Inc. and CheckFree formed a partnership to develop and market electronic billing and payment to financial institution's customers that use both CheckFree and the 724 Solution Financial Platform (FSP). These financial institutions will be able to enable their customers using mobile phones and PDAs to receive and pay bills including:
The combination of CheckFree’s expertise in electronic billing and payment (EBP) and 724 Solutions’s wireless financial services offering will enable financial enterprises, such as banks and credit unions, to offer value-added services to billers, businesses, and customers. The EBP-enabled solution is a convenient alternative to paper bills and payments. Wireless EBP is expected to be available for delivery to CheckFree’s and 724 Solutions’s customers in the third quarter of 2000.
