2000 - 26 (August 2000) TECHNOLOGY U.S. Wireless Announces Business Alliance Program to Create Location-Sensitive Mobile Applications U.S. Wireless Corporation announced the formation of a business alliance program to advance the creation and introduction of new location-sensitive applications and services for the wireless marketplace. The U.S. Wireless Alliance program will provide application developers with interfaces to its proprietary RadioCamera™ location data platform. The U.S. Wireless RadioCamera™ network accurately locates callers in dense metropolitan environments and provides continuous caller location updates (from SEND to END), while handling high call volume. The company will leverage its expertise to enable development of applications in the following areas:
