2000 - 27 (August 2000) PRODUCTS, SERVICES & APPLICATIONS Proteus Launches Wireless Logistics Management System for pFreight Proteus, a development and consulting agency, has launched a wireless extension to pFrieght.com, operated by pFreight, a consortium of participating service providers. pFreight provides a comprehensive suite of tools to streamline the business and administrative functions for individual drivers, small fleet owners and private fleets. To extend pFreight’s offering to a wireless Web model, Proteus developed simple to use applications that would reduce costs and increase efficiency for the fleet industry.
