Depending on the needs and goals of the mobile worker, the product can be used for either browsing for data or synchronizing data with the TeamTrack system.

Browsing
With a secure Palm-compatible browser, the TeamShare customer can interact directly with the TeamTrack system. For example, an engineering manager can use his Palm handheld to connect to the tTrack system and generate a status report outlining all outstanding issues. Similarly, a technician using tSupport can access the knowledge base, resolve incidents, and submit new incidents live from the field via his Palm device.

Synchronizing
TeamTrack Mobile allows users to bring their assignments down to their Palm to-do list applications using Aether Systems’s ScoutWare™ software. For instance, before a progress report meeting, a project manager can synchronize his to-do list with the TeamTrack system to access the details of his assignments for the upcoming meeting.

"We allow our customers [including technicians, sales people, and project managers] to interact with their system the way they want to, either via the familiar interface of the Palm to-do list or a secure Palm-compatible browser.
