2000 - 31 (Sept. 2000) PRODUCTS, SERVICES & APPLICATIONS Adobe GoLive Goes Wireless for Instant Delivery of Information to WAP and i-mode Devices Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced extensions to Adobe® GoLive 5.0 for two wireless formats, WML and i-mode. For Web developers, the extensions will allow them to design, deploy, and manage mobile dynamic Web sites. Adobe partnered with Nokia, Razorfish, and i-mode developers to deliver its wireless software. Adobe GoLive 5.0 fully supports the WAP specification and enables wireless Web development with Nokia WAP servers and Nokia handsets. Razorfish developed a robust WML extension for the new version of GoLive. The i-mode extension for GoLive 5.0 allows Web developers to create Compact Hyper Text Markup Language (cHTML) for NTT DoCoMo i-mode handset deployment. The i-mode English version and WAP/WML modules will be available by the end of August from Adobe.com.
