Capitalizing on the success of its flagship Evoke Webconferencing service, Evoke Communications ™ has launched its Mobile Webconferencing, a service that allows mobile professionals to initiate and control a Webconference from an Internet-enabled Palm® handheld computer. In addition, the company has launched its Evoke Mobile Talking Email, a service that enables customers to manage the recording of a voice greeting over e-mail using their Palm devices.

For the mobile traveling workforce using a Palm V and modem or Palm VII handheld with Palm.Net service, the Mobile Webconferencing application will enable them to initiate a conference, operate conference controls, and setup a live or recorded Webcast.

The service has passed the Palm Platinum test and is now considered a Palm Platinum Solution. Palm Platinum testing is administered by an independent third-party company to ensure that products meet compatibility and usability standards set by Palm Inc.

Furthermore, the company is developing a multi-platform infrastructure to support additional services on a variety of wireless devices, including pagers, smartphones, and other operating systems.
