iMedeon Expands Wireless Web Apps Suite for Mobile Workforce Management

For field service organizations, iMedeon, Inc. has released its version 2.0 of iM:Work. This Web-based application for mobile workforce management now boasts features to improve efficiency and profitability of field service enterprises.

Enhancements to iM:Work

  • iM:Optimizer
      • Incorporates complex business issues, meaning that it allows organizations to adjust the rules of service response on-the-fly and for special periods, to meet changing business needs
      • Provides flexible response to urgent situations such as a critical customer need, an emergency, or the weather
  • iM:Analyzer (a results management tool)
      • Consolidates field service data from multiple geographic areas, enterprise systems, and business units
      • Analyzes enterprise-wide mobile workforce performance as well as provides historical, current and what-if-analysis
      • Generates detailed reports
  • Dispatch Centers and Zone Group
      • Incorporates functional improvements such as access, views, privileges, geographical coverage, and assignment of back-up resources
      • Improves day-to-day operations with service level agreement flags, automated assignment and dispatch, operation reporting, order revision management, and emergency alerts for safety
  • iM:Portal
      • Provides a toolkit to integrate iM:Work suite with other enterprise IT systems, using XML
      • Connects information, staff, equipment and parts, to deliver enterprise-wide results, for instance, Customer Service and customers get real-time repair status; purchasing expedites replacement parts ASAP; and technicians never miss a service call.
