BlackBerry Enterprise Server Provides Always on Wireless E-mail and
Calendar
Research In Motion Limited has
announced that it will replicate its ‘always on’ e-mail experience as a
wireless calendar solution.
The company said that its BlackBerry Enterprise Server customers will
benefit from a seamless, two-way wireless connection between their on-line
calendar and their BlackBerry Handheld™, keeping all appointments and
meetings up-to-date all the time.
"Wireless calendar synchronization with BlackBerry dramatically
improves the scheduling process by providing an automated, two-way, wireless
connection to your calendar so that you’re always up-to-date," said
Mike Lazaridis, president and co-CEO of RIM.
Wireless Calendar Features
- Accept or decline meetings from the BlackBerry Wireless Handheld
- Initiate meeting requests
- Benefit from automatic two-way up-dates, from the handheld to the
on-line calendar and vice versa
- Invite meeting attendees using the handheld address book
- View up-to-date calendar on-line and on the handheld
