Dictation Recording Functions for Physicians via Handheld Devices
Speech Machines, Inc. and
MDeverywhere have partnered to provide physicians with dictation recording
functions via handheld devices. The solution will comprise of the
integration of Speech Machines’ DictationNet™ dictation and
transcription platform with MDeverywhere’s EveryCharge,
encounter-capture platform.
Using a handheld device, physicians will be able to perform the following
functions:
- Dictate patient notes
- Bundle voice dictation files with patient notes, gathered at the point
of care
- Receive up-dated medical records
Commenting on the benefits of the partnership, Alan Rubin, president and
CEO of MDeverywhere, said their customers will now receive the added value
of Speech Machines’ robust dictation services, which will extend the
capabilities of the handheld devices they are already using.
