Sprint PCS Launches Full-Color Screen Phone from Sanyo
The U.S. wireless carrier
Sprint PCS has announced the availability of a full color screen
mobile phone from Sanyo Fisher Company.
The Sprint PCS Phone SCP-5000 is a compact clamshell designed
handset featuring a 256-color display, with backlighting for
enhanced readability, and one-touch wireless Web access, for added
convenience.
Spring PCS said that users can download up to 20 photos of family
or colleagues that can be linked with phonebook entries, providing
an onscreen Photo Call ID for selecting incoming calls.
Additional Features
- Dual band: 1.9 Gigahertz digital, 800 MHz analog
- Enhanced phone book stores up to 300 phonebook entries, up to
nine numbers pre entry
- Electronic organizer, including a color scheduler/calendar,
to-do list, and event manager
- Enhanced call log captures the last 10 incoming, 10 outgoing,
and 10 missed calls
- Call Screening acts like an answering machine
- Voice activated dialing and menu-driven navigation
The Sprint PCS Phone SCP-5000 is available immediately to Sprint
PCS customers.
