Mobileinfo Comments and Advisory: We
see a concerted strategy from Compaq in addressing mobile device and
horizontal application sector of mobile/wireless computing industry.
iPAQ has acquired a good brand image. It is much more than organizer and
offers significant advantage over Palm devices for serious corporate
applications. Users should be willing to accept a tradeoff in terms of
slightly higher weight, size and price for increased functionality.
Business life, to a large extent, is a matter of tradeoffs.
