IT Service & Software Providers Must Address Enterprise
Mobile Needs, Says Survey
Enterprise demand for mobile functionality is on the verge of
exploding. According to a recent International Data Corporation
(IDC) survey, both U.S. and European corporations are in the thick
of this explosion. About 21 percent of U.S. respondents are
deploying a mobile solution, and another 56 percent are considering
deploying one. In Europe, the current rate is even higher, with 35
percent of respondents saying they are putting a mobile solution in
place today.

IDC report confirms with what we have been saying for over two
years. Need is there. Products, services and tools of the trade are
being produced. We have said before and repeat that enterprise
market for wireless and mobile computing deployment will grow first
and faster than consumer market in the first phase of our journey in
mobile and wireless sector. However, end-to-end integration of
enterprise applications is also quite complex. Therefore, making
