Zframe Sends Web Page Replicas to Mobile Devices

Many companies are trying to address the problem of wireless Internet on smaller handheld devices where screen sizes differ in size from very small to relatively small. Then there is the wireless bandwidth problem - pipe is too thin to send that monstrous data packets that fixed line networks have no problem handling.  Zframe is trying to address the problem by providing exact replicas of Internet pages and applications on Palm OS and Pocket PC devices with an objective to zoom in on specific parts of each page.

Mobileinfo Comments and Advisory: An interesting concept and variation of the same theme - fitting a full size page on a small device. Some users may find this acceptable, if you design the application to fit in a small part of a full-size screen. It does not address the fundamental problem - too thin a wireless pipe.
