Fox to Test Mobile Marketing to Kids in Germany
Fox Kids Europe and New York-based AirMedia are developing wireless promotions for Fox entertainment products to reach German teens. The test program will allow teens to use voice commands to order ring tones and graphics for their wireless devices. An estimated 40 percent of German teens have cell phones. (Business 2.0)
"Big Brother" Wireless Game A Success
Although the success of the show "Big Brother" in the UK market did not translate to success in the US market, British Telecommunications (BT) is benefiting from the show's translation into a wireless phone game. BT has registered 38,000 players of the game, who have logged over 20,000 hours playing.
