Borland’s JBuilder MobileSet 2
for J2ME Now Available
Borland Software Corporation
has announced that its JBuilder MoblieSet 2.0 for rapid development
of mobile and wireless applications for the Java 2 Platform (J2ME)
is available as a free download.
Built on the company’s flagship Java development tool JBuilder
6, MobileSet 2.0 supports software development in Java-enabled
devices, making it ideal for building and deploying J2ME
applications using the MIDP (Mobile Information Device Profile) and
CLDC (Connected Limited Device Configuration) platforms.
"Because it is tightly integrated with JBuilder, JBuilder
MobileSet encompasses all the tools necessary to develop, debug,
package and deploy MIDP applications," said John Muchow,
founder and chief technology officer of The Wireless Mind, Inc.
