Productivity Enhancing: The First Dual-Screen Laptop

No you’re not seeing double!

Estari Inc., a provider of digital document management software, has introduced the first dual screen laptop, dubbed Estari 2-VU.

The 2-VU has two, full-sized 15-inch diagonal screens and a Microsoft XP OS, giving it all the features of a laptop, paired with a reading experience that is superior to that of a PC or a dedicated e-reader, the company said.

With two full-page displays, users can view two documents or files simultaneously. For example, page through two books at once or take handwritten notes in a notebook on one screen while paging through a book on the other screen.

According to Estari’s CEO Dr. George Crist, the 2-VU’s design has "proven to increase reading speed, comprehension and retention."
