Orange Flat-Fee Mobile Internet
Makes it Easy for the Consumer
Wireless service packages
are riddled with long lists of exclusions and conditions, leaving
the potential customer utterly confused and frustrated.
Out to clarify and simplify wireless service pricing is European
carrier Orange. The wireless operator said it will launch a flat-fee
mobile Internet service for customers with GRPS - and WAP-enabled
handsets.
The offering will give users ‘unlimited’ access to news,
entertainment, and e-mail for $5.63 per month.
The service will be launched in France first, but the carrier
expects to extend it across Europe by the end of the summer.
