Schwab Wireless Users Gain Access
to Enhanced Features
Stockpoint, a ScreamingMedia
company and a provider of market data and financial analysis tools,
has announced that financial services firm Charles Schwab & Co.,
Inc. has selected its wireless technology to provide market data and
analysis tools to Schwab Wireless users on a wide range of devices.
Stockpoint’s Market Data Engine will ensure Schwab Wireless
users have easy access to relevant market information such as
quotes, news, watch lists, charts and market briefs.
Now Schwab Wireless services will be supported on a range of
wireless handhelds and integrated devices that run on the Palm OS,
including Palm VII/VIIx and i705 PDAs and the Samsung I300 and
Kyocera QCP6035 smartphones available through Sprint PCS and Verizon
Wireless.
