Colligo Networks Expands Offering
of Bluetooth Applications
Canadian wireless vendor Colligo
Networks has expanded its line of enterprise applications for
Bluetooth-enabled Palm powered handhelds with the addition of
Colligo Meeting, a group scheduling and calendaring application.
The release of Colligo Meeting follows on the heels of BlueBoard,
a portable whiteboard that allows users to share drawings in
real-time, and BlueChat, a private messaging and chat application.
The two earlier releases were licensed by Palm and bundled with the
Palm Bluetooth Card, based on the SDIO specification.
According to the company, Colligo Meeting is ideal for team
projects that require workers to be away from the office. With
Colligo Meeting, a group of business consultants or sales people
working offsite or a group of coworkers at a coffee shop can
exchange calendar information without access to a wide area wireless
network.
Colligo Meeting is now available for purchase. The company is
also encouraging mobile users to download a free, limited version of
the application for 30 days.

MobileInfo.com’s Comments & Advisory:
Use of Bluetooth will restrict the use of this application in a
meeting room environment only. It should support both local and wide
area wireless environments. Not everybody in a group is always within
the "Bluetooth" coverage area.
