1. Envara for Multi-Band
WLAN and PAN Chipsets (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz )
Palo Alto, CA and Ra'anana, Israel - October, 2002 - Envara announced that it has
raised additional $6.5 million in it's Series C funding round. In May of this year, the company announced that it had raised $15.5 million at the first closure of its series C round. Envara was founded in March 2000 by Gideon Barak, the former CEO of DSP Communications and Butterfly, and Izik Kirshenbaum, a two-time winner of the Israel Defense Award, Israel's most prestigious R&D award.
Investors include West STEAG Partners GmBH (Germany), CDIB Young Associates Capital Partners L.P. (UK), Top Taiwan Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (Taiwan), and Maxima Capital Management Ltd
(Taiwan).
2. EnOcean Receives $4.9 Million
from BayTech - EnOcean GmbH develops and commercializes a revolutionary technology that enables radio transmission without batteries or external power supply.
The unique EnOcean Technology was developed in the central research department of Siemens AG in an interdisciplinary environment, consisting of material engineering, ultra low power electronics, sensor and radio technology:

3. Littlefeet, Inc., a startup in distributed wireless coverage technology, announced today an additional investment of $3 million in its third-round of follow-on financing, bringing the total third-round capital raised to $25 million.
LittleFeet is involved in developing innovative antennae and
assocated technology for improving coverage of wireless networks.
