SavaJe is the developer of the universal open software platform (OS and application development) based on Java "SavaJe OS" for mobile phones.

2. Sirific Wireless Raises $2,000,000 in First Round Add-on [Canada]
Sirific Wireless is a fabless semiconductor company that has developed a platform for
multi-standard receiver products.

3. Action Engine (Redmond, Washington state) Raises $15.5M (series
C)
Action Engine delivers key enabling technology for mobile operators launching data services on smart devices, while also giving them the ability to manage the smart devices once they are in the hands of the subscriber.
Investors: Baker Capital. Other new investors in the round include Cascadia Capital LLC and the Intel Communications Fund. All existing preferred investors (OVP Venture Partners, Northwest Venture Associates and Spangler Ventures) also participated. The company, which has 47 employees, has raised a total of $35 million since it was founded in February 2000.
