1. Palm Announced Two new Palms
Recently
Palm has announced two new devices:
- Palm Zire 71for consumers with a
built-in camera - color, music, video, games and digital camera
and PIM in one device. More
- Palm Tungsten C with built-in
Wi-Fi compatibility for professionals and enterprise
applications. More
2. UK Carrier Orange delays newest
Microsoft phone
U.K. carrier Orange announced that it has delayed the release of the newest version of its SPV phone. The Orange SPV uses Microsoft's Smartphone 2002 software and is one of the few widely-available Microsoft-powered handsets. The new phone will now be released sometime in the summer. The carrier offered no reasons for the delay. The new
SPV, code-named SPVx, was announced in February, 2003 and was scheduled for release this month. The first SPV debuted in London in November of last year.
