OPENING OF OPERATIONS IN AUSTRALIA   

LXE Australia to offer broad range of wireless computer and backbone products and solutions for supply-chain management in the Australia market

Oct 3, 2000 - LXE Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq - ELMG), is announcing today at the Frontline Solutions Expo 2000 in Chicago that it has established operations in Australia.  A recently formed subsidiary will offer the complete line of LXE’s

wireless-based products that includes rugged wireless computers and high-speed backbones.  LXE’s products provide proven solutions for transportation, material handling, and healthcare applications. LXE Australia is based in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia, located east of Melbourne.
