Deployment To Extended Enterprises
XcelleNet’s Afaria Extends Software Delivery To Support Mobile Devices
Through Peregrine’s ServiceCenter Solution
ATLANTA - (June 13, 2001) - XcelleNet, Inc., the leading provider of

companies, today announced a partnership to offer XcelleNet’s Afaria, a
comprehensive mobile device management solution, which will provide enterprises
using Peregrine’s ServiceCenter® solution with software deployment
capabilities for mobile computing devices. Under this agreement, XcelleNet will
become the newest partner to join Peregrine’s Technology Connections Alliance
program.

Afaria will serve as a software delivery module that will link to ServiceCenter’s
Change and Problem Management applications. Afaria will automatically deploy,
install and maintain business applications on mobile computing devices, based
on direction provided by the Change and Problem Management processes. This
combined solution will give enterprises a more comprehensive management tool
that will provide reduced costs and increased productivity within the walls of
IT and in the field.

Technology Connections Alliance program to provide complementary technology,
products and services that interoperate with Peregrine products to enhance and
