May 05,, 2001 - Jataayu sets up US Subsidiary-Jataayu Software
Inc - the US arm to handle the marketing and development of Wireless
Internet products and solutions.
Bangalore, India, May 05, 2001- Jataayu Software, a leading
Wireless Internet company in India, announced today that it has
floated its wholly owned subsidiary in US - Jataayu Software Inc.
The charter for the US entity is to undertake
sales, marketing and customer support services activities, besides the
development of future wireless products and solutions.
Commenting on the formation of the new subsidiary,
Mr. Mahesh Jain, Managing Director, Jataayu Software, said, "The
US office is a striking response to our growing success in the
European and Indian markets. The twin objectives behind the launch of
the US operations will be able to tap the growing wireless market in
US as well as to undertake time critical development of future
wireless products and solutions".
Jataayu had recently launched the 1.2 specification
of the Jataayu WAP gateway with push technology and the Jataayu WAP
Browser for PalmOS and PocketPC, also with push functionality.

hence Jataayu’s US operations will constitute a significant part of
