Collaboration to Focus on "Always Available" Access to SAP Applications
Emeryville, CA-March 5, 2001-iAnywhere Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYBS), and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world's largest professional services organization, today announced a relationship to jointly deliver mobile and wireless SAP solutions. This joint initiative is designed to help enterprises improve employee productivity, reduce administrative time and costs, and enhance customer service through "always available" access to important SAP information-even when mobile workers are not connected to the network.

The two organizations will target sales and field force automation projects in a number of key vertical industries, such as automotive, engineering, transportation, retail and utilities. Through its broad and deep experience in SAP implementation, PricewaterhouseCoopers plans to deliver custom applications based on the iAnywhere Solutions m-Business technology platform, which includes capabilities of the iAnywhere Wireless Server and SQL Anywhere® Studio. This relationship also leverages iAnywhere Solutions' experience in developing mobile SAP extensions, such as the iAnywhere TimeTracker for SAP R/3® application, used for mobile time tracking from Palm-based devices.
