Ventrada Remote offers user authentication security for system login, secure connection (SSL) between devices, the application gateway and data repositories, and the company plans to add VPN support with partners.

Pricing and availability
Ventrada Remote is targeted for availability to service providers in May 2001. Ventrada Remote will be offered to service providers in a low-risk, subscriber-based model. An enterprise version of Ventrada Remote is scheduled to be in customer testing in June of this year. Pricing for the enterprise version will be announced closer to availability.
