- Paul May -

Paul founded Verista  (http://www.verista.com)  in October 1998, undertaking ecommerce and eBusiness strategy and implementation projects with well-known global companies such as BP and De Beers, and with B2B and B2C ecommerce startups in the UK and US. Recent projects include mobile business proposition
development with Siemens, and mobile applications development with BP. A software developer by trade, Paul has been a business technology author, consultant, systems architect and business development executive in the
business systems architectures and ecommerce field since 1991.

Prior to starting Verista, Paul launched and led the ecommerce practice at ECsoft, a
leading European consultancy and systems integration organisation. He and his team were active in a range of business sectors, including finance, retail and transport and offered services from business and technology strategy through architecture, design, implementation and deployment. Paul has a BA from Oxford University and an M.Sc. from City University.

He is the author of "The Business of Ecommerce - From Corporate Strategy to Technology" and "Mobile Commerce - Opportunities, Applications and Technologies of Wireless Business"'. Both books were published by Cambridge University Press.
