Zucotto Wireless and NTRU Partner to Deliver Embedded Java Security Solutions

Wireless security is obviously important when protecting m-commerce transactions but is equally so when safeguarding copyright-protected multimedia content, such as music recordings and videos. To address the security issues in both these emerging applications, NTRU and Zucotto Wireless Inc. have partnered to deliver high-performance security solutions for embedded Java applications.

The companies are porting NTRU’s patented, low-footprint, high-performance security technology to Zucotto’s WHITEboard™ Software Development Kit and into Zucotto’s Xpresso™Java native processor.

"Our partnership with NTRU provides those developers with a critical element of the wireless Java solution: high-speed data encryption and authentication," remarked Mark Well, President and CEO of Zucotto Wireless.

The combined technology platform will allow users of next-generation devices to perform wireless functions such as purchasing goods or services or downloading multimedia content both quickly and securely.
