In an effort to broaden its exposure, Numoda has been in discussions with European and Asian telecoms, including Hutchison Wampoa and Hutchison 3G, to develop enterprise applications over their networks. Discussions are also underway with three American telecoms, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, of which one will be contracted to distribute its wireless enterprise applications, the company said.

Ailing itself with major telecoms, Numoda would see its solution being resold as part of a package for the telecoms’ corporate clients. For the most part, Numoda would be building applications for the next-generation of convergent devices that combine cell phone and PDA features.

Numoda’s solutions are built on its own technologies, such as its recently released DEEP (Data Exchange and Execution Protocol) Technology for financial services. Its solutions allow enterprises to wirelessly gather critical data from the field, drop the information into the database as objects, sort and analyze the info, and then wirelessly redistribute specific packets of information in custom reports to the individuals who need them.

Projects under consideration are the development of new applications such as Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Manager and sector specific applications for such vertical markets as the pharmaceutical, the real estate, and the financial services industries.
