OmniSky Partners with Wireless Knowledge To Bring Wireless Corporate E- mail to the Enterprise

OmniSky has entered into a partnership with Wireless Knowledge to attract companies looking for a server-based wireless e-mail. Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will cross-market their wireless offerings: OmniSky will market Wireless Knowledge’s Workstyle™ Server to its corporate customers, enabling employees to access corporate e-mail and contacts over its network, while Wireless Knowledge will promote OmniSky’s wireless e-mail and Internet services. The companies have also agreed to collaborate on the development of next generation wireless solutions for the enterprise.

Enhanced security features
Access to corporate e-mail, contacts and calendar information

OmniSky Service

Ability to search and browse the Web
Use of a directory that allows users to save information directly to their contacts applications.
Wireless and Internet service is available for HP Jornada 540 Series, Handspring Visor Platinum and Visor Prism, and the Palm V.
