Micronpc.com Partners with Intel to Deliver Wireless Networking Solutions

Micron Electronics, Inc. and Intel Corporation have announced the availability of micronpc.com’s Wireless Networking solution.

The offering will provide the enterprise with a single solution that combines the following:

Intel’s wireless LAN networking products that are based on IEEE 802.11b and offer up to 128-bit encryption.

Intel PROW/Wireless 2011 LAN PC Card

Intel PRO/Wireless 2011 LAN Access Point

Micronpc.com’s TransPort notebooks

Services including

Site evaluation

Hardware installations

Configuration

Ongoing network support

The combination of Intel’s wireless LAN products and micropc.com’s offering will provide mobile workers with high speed access to real-time networking activities, such as using voice over IP, managing e-mail, accessing the Internet or intranets, and sharing files and applications, the companies said in a joint statement.
