Toshiba Sets its Sights on India for the Launch of Bluetooth

Electronic manufacturer Toshiba has teamed with HCL Frontline
Division to distribute a series of always connected,
Bluetooth-enabled notebook computers, Tecra 8200 and Satellite Pro
4600, in India.
Both notebooks have an optional Bluetooth
card that will allow a host of digital gadgets to communicate with
each other within a range of 10 to 100 meters.
Wu Tengguno, division head of computer systems Division of
Toshiba told MBizCentral, "Both products support technology for
walk-around networking and have built-in ethernet, modem, fax, and
integrated antenna, and optional wireless card kit, enabling the
setting up of spontaneous, seamless team computing environment
without server or established infrastructure."
