MetroTrack and Voxera Close Separate Investment Funding Rounds

MetroTrack, a provider of wireless technologies to deliver location-based voice and data services for public safety and commercial applications, closed a seed round with an undisclosed amount of funding from Platinum Capital, a Swiss consulting and merchant banking firm, Venture Wire reported.

MetroTrack, Inc. is a leading developer of wireless location-based voice & data services for public safety and commercial applications. The Company's propietary technologies offer the first viable solution to the FCC's recent mandate requiring all the wireless providers to have the capability to pinpoint the location of 911 wireless callers. Additionally, Voxera, which develops next-generation mobile information management software, has closed its first round at an undisclosed amount with investments from Voyager Venture Partners and Satwik Ventures.
