Mobilian Announces Combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Chipset
Mobilian Corporation, a company that designs and develops integrated chipsets and software for wireless applications, announced its TrueRadio(TM) combination Wi-Fi(TM)/Bluetooth(TM) chipset. The Mobilian TrueRadio chipset implements all the analog and digital functionality of two complete radios in only two chips. The TrueRadio chipset is based on the Mobilian's proprietary Sim-Op(TM) technology that allows each radio to operate at precisely the same time, thus supporting applications that cannot tolerate even small interruptions in signal transmission, such as voice and audio visual applications. The TrueRadio chipset enables true simultaneous operation of Wi-Fi (802.11b) and Bluetooth, providing "coexistence without
compromise" (TM) to users of the technology. (Source: 802.11 Planet)
