Security Opens European Wireless Development Center RSA
Security opened its Wireless Development Center, located in Stockholm,
Sweden, dedicated to extending the Company’s product line, by way of new
technologies. The Center also
aims to strengthen RSA’s ties to the wireless, networking, telephony and
service provider communities to drive forward standards and deliver
solutions for mobile commerce and communications. The
challenge will be to specify and provide ubiquitous security technologies
that satisfy the strict processing requirements and storage limitations of
wireless environments. Via the
Center, RSA will continue with its initiatives, such as contributing towards
WAP and Bluetooth specifications, the definition of PKCS#15 cryptographic
token information format standard and its latest BSAFE® Protocols. According
to RSA’s Chief Technology Officer, RSA intends to provide
business-to-consumer and business-to-business and extended enterprise
network users with access to safer and more secure wireless infrastructure. For
